Total of 56,165 units overhang property Q3 2020

Property Market Report of Malaysia Q3 2020 was published 21st Feb in JPPH website. Number of High-Rise Residential Property overhang is 16,765. On the other hand, there are 8,607 units of landed property in the over-hang categories. For commercial property, Service Apartment contributed 24,267 units to the overhang number and the remaining 6,526 units are shop lot and stratified office unit. Compare to Q3 2019, overhang units were 65,552 in total. The slight drop of the number may due to the slowing down of new development.

Compassionate Government Waive RPGT on all Properties below RM10m

The Pandemic's impact to the market is tremendous and thankfully to our Government to waive the RPGT for the period of 1 June 2020 to 31 Dec 2021. If you are having property that you want to dispose, it is  wise to do it now before it is too late. A penny saved is a penny earned.

Over 38,000  applications for PPR, PA Homes

DBKL received over 38,000 applications for PPR, PA homes since 2009. Of which, over 14,412 units of application has been offered for the housing units. These projects by DBKL is aimed to overcome the housing problem of the urban poor and comfort the city folks, said the KL Mayor Mayor Datuk Seri Mahadi Che Ngah.

Penang's top transaction areas for homebuyers in 2020

Free Malaysia Today has compiled a top transaction areas or preferred location of property for Penang in the year 2020 in a write up dated 29th March 2021. Of which, Bukit Mertajam, Ayer Itam, and Jelutong are top 3 preferred areas for the homebuyers. Would it because of Feng Shui? Or Would it because of amenities? As I understand, Bukit Mertajam has a few Malaysia's top Secondary Schools. Will that be the real reason?
